This may include your display name, username, email address, password in securely hashed form, profile details, role, biography, profile image, posts, audio, video, photographs, comments, messages, competition entries, course activity, reports, support requests and any other content you submit.

Information generated through use

We may collect interactions such as follows, likes, saves, searches, viewed content, messages sent, account settings, reports, login times, device and browser details, IP address, approximate location derived from an IP address, crash information and security logs.

Information from others

Other users may mention, tag, message or upload content featuring you. We may also receive information from authentication providers, payment providers, analytics services, event organisers or other integrations you choose to use.

We may share limited information with hosting providers, email providers, analytics services, security services, payment processors and other vendors that process information for Melopod. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition or transfer of the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not give advertisers access to your private messages.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to access, correct, download, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing.

6. Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including password hashing, access controls and security logging. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong unique password and keep your login details private.

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and enforce agreements. Deleted content may remain temporarily in backups, security records or legal records before being removed.

7. International processing

Melopod may use service providers located in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

8. Young users

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Melopod account. If the law in your country requires parental or guardian permission for a minor to use an online service, you confirm that you have that permission. Melopod is not directed to children under 13.
